Our Journey

Rhemaword Academy, our private homeschool academy, began in 1995. With my background working for several years in the public schools and my Degree in Education, I am fully prepared for the teaching challenges of homeschooling. I have homeschooled our four children from PreK to High School graduation. Our homeschool journey has not stopped with our grown children, but continues with our grandchildren.

From the beginning, our decision to homeschool was not a difficult one. Because we were evangelists when we began to homeschool, this seemed to be the best educational route to take. Understanding each student has different learning styles, we use a versatile eclectic source of homeschool curriculum that best fits each student. As each student continues their education to the high school level, we follow WA State Board of Education homeschool guidelines to meet each students required credits needed to reach their High School graduation.

Our Rhemaword Academy homeschool journey is an adventure that is well worth all the hard work.
